Calling all Teens! The Library needs your help in deciding programs and activities that the library should plan for high school and middle school students. Though we love programs that connect to books, we are looking for all ideas! Crafts? Gaming? Stranger Things Escape room? Movie night? We have a lot of ideas but we want to select the best for your age group!
Join us Tuesday, July 19 at 6 PM. We will provide the pizza and pop, you bring the ideas!

Meet us July 13th at the Aurora Branch or July 14th at the Dillsboro Branch. Each program begins at 11:00 a.m. Registration is not required, but is helpful for planning purposes. Please call 81-926-0646 to register.
Our feature story, of course, will be all about fires. After the story, we will break out into our “fire” themed stations which consist of movement games, sensory bins, and creativity stations. You will not want to miss the Take It, Make It Craft where spots are plentiful. As always, we will have our “field trip” outside to see our featured transportation. Photos and inspecting the vehicle will be our top priority while outside. But, wait…before you leave, you’ll have to “fuel up” with a grab-a-snack bag. We wonder who the lucky winner of our door prize will be this time? We look forward to seeing all you kids there!

Or do you just want to make new friends and eat snacks? Well, you’re in luck! Stuck Between the Pages is the perfect group for you!
Stuck Between the Pages is a book club for those in high school that meets the second Tuesday of the month upstairs in the teen area at the Aurora Public Library at 6 p.m. Come and discuss books with a group of people who love books as much as you do. Plus, there are always snacks!
Stop in anytime to pick up your book and register at the upper level desk. We’ll see you at the next meeting!
