Storytime Saturday at the Dillsboro Public Library on Saturday, December 2nd will feature a fun theme of talented swimmers who paddle with their front paws, a coat of fur that does not soak up water, and a love for snow and VERY cold weather. What could it be? A friendly polar bear is visiting the library to say hello, make some COOL crafts, and read a story or two with you! Come join us for this amazing animal storytime at the Dillsboro Library on December 2nd at 2 pm. Families of all ages are welcome!
As Clark Griswold once said, “We’re gonna have the hap- hap- happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny Kaye!” Well, close enough. Watch everyone’s favorite Christmas movie, White Christmas, this holiday season at the Depot! We will be starting our showing at the Old Aurora Train Depot on December 14th at 5:30 pm. Dress in your favorite ugly sweater or comfiest Christmas jammies for the occasion if you’d like. Light holiday treats will be provided. This program is open to all ages and all members of the family, from great-grandparents to newborns!
We can’t wait to see you there!
Fall, fall, and more fall in November has our kids exploring things that fall. What do fall leaves, pumpkins, turkeys and Humpty Dumpty have in common? They all fall down in this month’s storytimes. Bring your kiddos!
Storytimes are open to families of all ages and take place at the Dillsboro Public Library Tuesday and Thursday and at the Aurora Public Library Wednesday and Friday. All storytimes start at 10:30 am.
Mark your calendar to come to Aurora Public Library on October 19th at 6 pm to meet the stars of Tri-State Wrestling and take a photo or two! This is your opportunity to find out their favorite moves, toughest fights, and even their favorite book! Light refreshments provided.
This is a FREE event and all ages are welcome! Registration is recommended, but not required.
The wrestlers can’t wait to meet you! We’ll see you there!
