The book sale returns in September

The Dollar-A-Bag Book Sale is officially set to be back at the Dillsboro Public Library in September!

The Book Sale will be open to teachers only from September 9th-15th during library hours (10 am-6 pm M-F, 10 am-3 pm Sat.). Please bring your teacher ID or educator library card with you to access the book sale. The following week, the Book Sale will be open to the general public from September 16th-23rd during library hours.

The Book Sale will be set up in the basement of the Dillsboro Public Library. Please bring your own bags to fill. Each bag will be $1.

Take Flight at Dillsboro at 6 pm

Take wing and join in a WILD adventure at the Dillsboro Public Library on June 20th at 6 pm!

Take Flight: Wildlife Encounters is visiting Dillsboro this summer for our summer reading program and they’re bringing a living aviary with them! Meet all kinds of birds of prey, ask experts questions about the animals, and learn about these cool birds at this event!

Life-Size Clue: After Hours!

One murder… 6 suspects. Find out who’s responsible for murdering Mr. Boddy of Tudor Mansion in his own home. Was it Plum with the wrench in the library? Or Green with the candlestick in the study? We’re staying after hours to solve this mystery at the Dillsboro Public Library on June 16th at 6 pm!

Anyone 18+ is welcome to attend. Registration is required. Please call 812-954-4151 to register. FREE pizza and drinks will be provided. We can’t wait to sleuth with you!

The Book Sale is BACK!

Our book sale is back! The sale will be downstairs at our Dillsboro branch. It is going to be $1 a bag. Teachers will get the first selection at what we have on September 8th – 10th. It will be open to the rest of the public September 12th – September 24th.
