Get crafty with Miss Emily after school at the Dillsboro Public Library for our September Crafternoon project! On September 26th after school (3:30 pm), meet up with friends or come by yourself to create your very own Scribble-Bot! What is a Scribble-Bot you ask? It’s a robot you can build yourself that creates its very own picture! Learn how to build one with Emily and take it home with you for endless creation!

Color a Cool T-Shirt!

Color T-Shirts on July 18th and 19th.

Fill your wardrobe with a burst of color this summer at the library!

Visit the Dillboro Public Library on July 18th or the Aurora Public Library on July 19th to create your very own, completely unique color t-shirt to show off your style when you go back to school! This event starts at 11:30 am at both locations, but feel free to come to our family storytime at 10:30 am before the event starts! WE will have fun activities for the older kids to do during storytime as well.

June LEGO Club!

Lego Club is continuing into the summer!

The LEGO Club is a place where children between the ages of 6 and 12 can make anything they choose. We provide the LEGOs, you provide the CREATIVITY! Feel free to design whatever you want, but if you need inspiration, challenge cards will be provided. Either working alone or in a group is allowed. The designs will then be put on display on the shelves outside the children’s room so you can show off your work.

This month, we will be meeting at the Dillsboro Public Library on June 1st at 5 pm and at the Aurora Public Library on June 13th at 5 pm. LEGOs, snacks, and beverages are provided. We can’t wait to see what you create!
