Chapter Chat is back with a little twist.
Children can pick up this month’s book with interactive elements that go along with the story. As you read, there are items in the bag that have page numbers on them. When you reach that page then you will open that item and use it along with the story!
October’s book is the Hiddenseek by Nate Cernosek.
A brother and sister are transported to a cursed world based on the game hide-and-seek, where they are pursued by a shape-shifting witch, the game never ends, and the only way to get home is to win.
Bags can be picked up at Aurora at the lower level desk and a Dillsboro. Meeting times are as follows:
October 25th @ APL – 4:30 pm
October 17th @ DPL – 3:30 (part of the afterschool program)
Snacks and Drinks will be provided. Ages 7 to 12 only.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Get crafty with Miss Emily after school at the Dillsboro Public Library for our September Crafternoon project! On September 26th after school (3:30 pm), meet up with friends or come by yourself to create your very own Scribble-Bot! What is a Scribble-Bot you ask? It’s a robot you can build yourself that creates its very own picture! Learn how to build one with Emily and take it home with you for endless creation!
Got any questions? Give us a call at 812-954-4151 or visit the library today to speak with a librarian. We can’t wait to see what you create!
