margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; color: #404040;\">Interlibrary Loan (or ILL, for short) is a service for patrons of APLD to borrow books, videos, DVDs, or sound recordings that are owned by another library system.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">APLD offers this service because it isn\u2019t always possible to acquire an item for our permanent collection. However, through ILL the library is able to provide you with a much greater amount of material.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; color: #404040;\"><strong>T<\/strong><b>o make an ILL request you will need:<\/b><\/p><ul><li><p>A library membership in good standing<\/p><\/li><li><p>All pertinent information about the item you&#8217;re requesting<\/p><\/li><li>Your current contact information<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; color: #404040;\">Most items will require 10 business days to receive and the circulation period is set by the lending library.
