There's an endless amount of fun at Storytime!
Storytimes are about 35-45 minutes and include songs, dances, crafts, activities, stories, and games! All ages are welcome from 0 to pre-k!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Did you know that reading to your child is one of the most powerful ways to boost their brain power? The Aurora Public Library District’s 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is a fun, exciting, and free way to start your child on the path to success! All you need to do is track the books you read to your child from now until they go to Kindergarten in the special tracking log! Any child ages birth to five years can participate.
One thousand books may seem like a lot, but if you read just one book a night, you’ll meet your goal in less than 3 years. If you read three books a night, you could reach your goal in just one year!

LEGO Club
Let your imagination soar!
We encourage kids to explore their creativity and create whatever they choose! If they need a little help, we have challenge cards available. We provide the LEGOs, you provide the creativity! Free snacks and drinks provided!
We typically meet the first Tuesday of the month at our Dillsboro Branch at 3:30 pm and the first Wednesday of the month at our Aurora Branch at 4:30.
Anyone ages 7-12 is welcome to attend! Registration is recommended, but required. Please call 812-926-0646 to secure your spot!
Coding Club
Have fun while learning a valuable skill set!
Use code to make webpages, animations, games, and more! Make friends while gradually expanding your knowledge. No prior coding or programming experience is necessary. All supplies will be provided. FREE snacks and drinks will be available.

Get crafty at the library!
