Have you ever wondered what the distance is between planets? Or wondered what kind of effects air pressure has? Have you wondered about asteroids, orbits or gravity? If so, The Cincinnati Museum Center will be at the Aurora Public Library on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 10:30 am and at Dillsboro Public Library the same day at 1:30 pm.
The Museum Center will present slides showing new images of Mercury, Neptune and the solar system. Children will also have the unique opportunity to touch real meteorites and rocks that are like the ones that can be found on the earth’s moon. Children will get to build a model of the solar system and use radio-controlled space shuttles to explore what could be beyond planet Earth.
Registration is required for this free event. You can register your child by calling the Aurora Public Library at 812-926-0646 or the Dillsboro Library at 812-954-4151
