What is Learn-A-Test?
Learning Express Library provides a completely interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial course series in a program called Learn-A-Test.
This resource is designed to help patrons, students, and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results.
How to Access Learn-A-Test
There are two ways to access Learn-A-Test:
- By clicking the link at the top of this page.
- Or by typing the following url in the address bar: www.LearningExpressLibrary.com
If you access this service from a computer outside the library the first screen you encounter will require you to fill in Username,
Password, and to Verify your Password.
The Username is your library card number.
It is important that you enter the 14 digit number on the back of your library card without spaces between numbers for it to work; i.e., so that Learning Express Library recognizes you as a patron of the Aurora Public Library District.
You Select the Password
You are asked to verify your password to ensure it was typed correctly. It is important that you write down and save/remember your password, as this is essential on return visits to Learn-A-Test when you will want to sign in and access My Account.
If asked at the next screen, select Aurora Public Library.
If you access Learn-A-Test from a computer in the library you will be taken to the Learning Express Library welcome page for the Library Program. You will be asked to sign in either as a New User or a Returning User. If you select New User you will encounter the screen that requires you to fill in Username, Password, Verify Password. After signing in you will be taken to the screen that shows all the online tests and course resources available for your use. Place your cursor on the test you want to select and click once.
A great feature of Learn-A-Test is that you have the ability to stop a test at a certain point and then resume taking the test at the same point at a later time.
It is important that you write down and save/remember your password, as this is essential on return visits to Learn-A-Test when you will want to sign in and access My Account. It is in My Account that you will find the tests you have previously selected and/or want to resume.
By clicking on Help located at the top of the Learn-A-Test screen you will find the answers to many frequently asked questions. As always the Librarians are ready to assist you at any point.
